Design Flexibility of Modular Housing
Modular housing construction allows for hundreds of options and design possibilities and your builder will work with you and your home manufacturer to determine the type and design of Modular Home that best suits your needs. They’ll generally offer a wide range of house plans to choose from in a variety of styles. They’ll also offer a range of options to customize the home you select. Allowing for state building codes, you can modify or upgrade your general construction specifications, design your own floor plans and elevations, pick the style of windows or siding, choose colors of vinyl, carpet, counter tops and bath fixtures. The possibilities are endless.
Speed of Modular Construction & Reduced Building Time
Modular Homes are typically built in about 1/3 the time needed to construct a site-built home, This is because overall building time is reduced by concurrent site work and home construction. (This also allows for reduced interest on construction financing). In addition, a manufacturer’s highly skilled work force has years of experience in the building industry and works year round within the factory. This means that there are no delays from “no-show subs” as may often be the case with a site-built home.
Modular Home are Better Quality Construction
Because Modular Homes are built in factories, manufacturers are able to utilize tools unavailable to the site builder such as custom manufactured jigs which ensure that all walls, floors and ceilings are square and plumb. In addition, interior walls are lag-bolted to the exterior walls and bracing and insulation are installed on all electrical outlet boxes. Finally, straps brace the wall to the floor.

Frequent Questions ...
What are the benefits of a Modular Home?
Simple, fast, and enjoyable experience. Modular home construction is quick and efficient, saving you the ongoing stresses of building on-site. All the “best price” research has already been done for you.
More affordable. Modular homes are more affordable than traditional site-built homes thanks to factory efficiencies and years of experience. That said, we are still focused on quality homes customized to each individual.
Fixed price guarantee. You contract the price for your home, and are guaranteed that price unless you direct a change order. The price is the price.
Built solid. Each home exceeds required building codes, and is inspected by our quality control team for structural integrity before leaving the factory. Modular homes are “over built” in order to be strong enough for truck transport to the job site.
Can I custom design a home or am I limited to options?
Yes! We are open to ideas – if you have a plan you have drawn or found on another website, we want to see it! You can upload it and send it to us. Our drafting team will customize the plan using our design software, and make any changes you request in order to develop your plan exactly as you want it.
Is There A Difference Between Modular Homes And Pre-fab Homes?
A prefab home is an umbrella term for any home built in an off-site factory, which is then delivered by truck to the home site, and assembled by a construction crew. A modular home, which falls under that umbrella, is a type of prefab home which consists of a number of pieces which are transported to the building site, where they are then assembled.
